EU'S 2ND HIGHEST GDP (REVISED DATA FROM EUROSTAT)
Lithuania recorded the 2nd highest quarterly GDP growth rate in Q4 of 2010 in the EU, revised data from Eurostat showed on 3 March.
Lithuania’s economy grew by 1.8 % in the Q4 from Q3. Only Estonians recorded a higher growth - their economy expanded by 2.3 %, whereas Latvia’s economy grew by 1.1 %.
According to Eurostat‘s revised data Lithuania’s year-on-year GDP in the first quarter grew by 4.6 %, being the 4th highest figure in the EU.
