Set in 1861, Fireheart is a sprawling historical romantic adventure in which a story of love, honour and freedom unfold in the restless outskirts of the Russian empire. Tadas is a carefree serf; Kristina is the daughter of a powerful landowner. But when Tadas and Kristina fall in love, they know that their love is doomed in the socially segregated Russian Empire. Tensions rise as those in power seek to prevent the abolition of serfdom. When a Midsummer celebration turns into a slaughter, Tadas finds himself in the middle of a rebellion, with dozens of men at his command. Now torn with the choice between his duty as a rebel leader and his love for the daughter of the sworn enemy, what will he do?
