Forget-Me-Not Campaign
Embassy of Lithuania to Canada invites Lithuanian Community in Canada to join the Forget-Me-Not campaign that commemorates January 13th as the Day of Freedom Defenders. By wearing the badges of forget-me-not flowers we remember and honor those killed during the Soviet military aggression in Vilnius in January 1991.
During January 9-17, 2021 we invite Lithuanians in Canada and friends of Lithuania in Canada to “grow” the meadow of forget-me-not flowers in your private garden or public space that is significant for the community and share the photos of such happening with us.
