Important changes regarding travel requirements to Lithuania from Canada
Canada was added to the list of COVID-19 affected countries starting September 21 because the COVID-19 incidence rate in Canada exceeds 25 cases per 100 000 population in the last 14 days. Accordingly, Lithuanian citizens and lawful residents will be required to spend 14 days in isolation upon arrival starting from September 21. Canadian citizens and persons lawfully residing in Canada will not be allowed to enter Lithuania, with some exceptions for essential travel purpose. Every traveler returning to or arriving in Lithuania by regular, special or charter transport by air, sea, or land, must electronically submit their personal data to the National Public Health Centre. Before boarding a plane, ferry, bus, or train, a traveler must fill in a form on the website of the National Public Health Centre, and at the time of boarding present the website confirmation (QR code).
