LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER EXPRESSED CONDOLENCES OVER THE ARIZONA SHOOTING

On 10 January, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis sent a letter to the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, expressing condolences to the families of the victims over the tragic accident in the State of Arizona.


The Minister also wished quick recovery to the U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords. The U.S. congresswoman is in critical condition after a shooting incident of 8 January.

“It is with great shock and disbelief that I learned of the terrible tragedy in Arizona. I would like to extend my sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and American people. I hope for Representative Gabrielle Giffords’ recovery,” the letter of Minister A. Ažubalis reads.
