LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN TURKEY

On 24 October, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis sent a letter to Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, extending condolences over the earthquake that hit southeastern Turkey and has claimed lives.


“Let me express my sincere condolences to the victim’s families and wish a speedy recovery to those injured. In this hour of pain and grief, I would like to express my hope and firm belief that the Turkish nation will succeed in managing and coping with the damages of this terrible natural disaster,” reads the Minister’s letter.
