On the Montreal Stage – the Debut of our Talented Tenor Edgaras Montvidas

At the end of November, there was a special event at cultural scene in Canada – talented Lithuanian tenor Edgaras Montvidas made his debut on the Opéra de Montréal stage!
He performed one of the main roles – the character Laca in the opera Jenůfa. This opera by the Czech composer Leoš Janáček was directed by the renowned Canadian producer Atom Egoyan.
The production, performed three times on Opéra de Montréal stage, received great acclaim from audiences, media attention, and praise from art critics. The Embassy of Lithuania was delighted to have congratulated Edgaras Montvidas on the premiere and to thank him for promoting Lithuania’s name worldwide.
