POINT OF SINGLE CONTACT FOR SERVICES AND PRODUCTS FOR BUSINESSES' NEEDS
The Point of Single Contact for Services and Products (Point of Single Contact) has recently launched its activities in Lithuania and has been already actively serving local as well as foreign businesses
by providing them with:
- Information on the permits and licenses enabling to provide services in Lithuania;
- Information on the technical requirements applied on products sold on the Lithuanian market;
- General information for business;
- Contact information of competent institutions;
- Assistance in on-line completion of business-related procedures and formalities;
- Information on Points of Single Contact in other EU Member States.
The Point of Single Contact operates on “one-stop-shop“ and free-of-charge basis.
The team of the Point of Single Contact kindly invites businesses to visit www.businessgateway.lt for information on a variety of services and products or to contact us via the portal.
Points of Single Contact for Services and Products have been established across all the EU-27 after the Services Directive of of the European Parliament of 12 December 2006 as well as the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008 obliged each Member State to establish a Point of Single Contact for Services and a Product Contact Point.
