PRESIDENT GRYBAUSKAITĖ WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN AN INTERNATIONAL SECURITY CONFERENCE IN RYGA

Tomorrow (Saturday October 24) President Dalia Grybauskaitė will participate in an international conference in Riga titled "Transatlantic Agenda 2010 - A Baltic Vision".

The conference will discuss international security and collective defense, NATO's new strategic concept, the contribution of the Baltic States to NATO, and future perspectives.

President Grybauskaitė will take part in the debate of heads of state and political experts.

Among the other speakers at the conference will be President Valdis Zatlers of Latvia and President Toomas Hendrik Ilves of Estonia.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė will return to Vilnius Saturday evening.
