The President extended condolences to Governor General of Canada Julie Payette over deadly van attack in Toronto

On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I extend profound condolences over the van attack in Toronto, which resulted in the death of ten innocent people and left many injured.

In the face of this tragic incident, I wish strength and fortitude to the families and friends of the victims, speedy recovery to the injured and consolidation to the people of Canada.
