VALDAS ADAMKUS MET WITH POLISH PRESIDENT AND GEORGIAN PRIME MINISTER BEFORE THE OPENING OF EU EMERGENCY SUMMIT
Georgia’s Prime Minister told President Adamkus about the expectations that his country had with respect of the European Council meeting. Mr. Gurgenidze underlined that Georgia was in urgent need of economic assistance to rebuild its infrastructure destroyed by Russian troops and to win back the confidence of foreign investors.
Valdas Adamkus also met with President Lech Kaczyński. The two presidents discussed Lithuania’s and Poland’s position at today’s EU emergency summit.
