Consular Services will be provided in Toronto, Canada, on November 13–14
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Canada will conduct a consular mission in Toronto on November 13–14, 2026.
During the consular mission, Lithuanian officials will accept the following applications and documents from citizens of the Republic of Lithuania:
- applications for the issuance or replacement of an identity card and passport (priority will be given to applicants applying for their first identity document and those who are unable to apply for the replacement of identity documents through the external service provider in Toronto);
- declarations of departure from Lithuania for citizens who have left Lithuania for a period exceeding six months;
- applications for the issuance of a temporary travel document;
- notifications of lost identity documents;
- applications to register civil status acts recorded in a foreign country;
- applications to change a first name and/or surname;
- applications for the issuance of extracts certifying civil status records;
- applications for consular certificates;
- applications for obtaining documents from institutions of the Republic of Lithuania;
- applications concerning citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania (officials will verify the authenticity of documents relating to applications for Lithuanian citizenship and notifications of the acquisition of citizenship of another country that have been uploaded electronically to the MIGRIS system).
The consular mission in Toronto will take place on the premises of the RC Parish of the Resurrection, at 1 Resurrection Rd., Toronto, ON, M9A 5G1. Applicants will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
During the consular mission, services will be provided only to persons who have registered in advance and received confirmation of their appointment. Registration is available through the online registration system until November 1st. If required, please refer to the instructions for registering for a consular mission.
During consular missions, consular fees are increased by 50%. Information on consular fees is available on the Embassy's website.
Payment for consular services can be made only during the mission, by debit or credit card.

Public electronic services provided by Lithuanian authorities can be accessed using a new-generation Lithuanian citizen's identity card (ID card) issued after August 12, 2021, a mobile device equipped with NFC technology, and the mCard LTU application downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Persons who have an ID card issued before January 1, 2024, and use it as a qualified electronic signature tool to access services through the eNotaras information system, are advised to apply for a free replacement of their identity card. Further information is available here.
