PRESIDENT ADAMKUS WILL HIGHLIGHT EU'S ROLE IN THE DIALOGE WITH CASPIAN REGION COUNTRIES

Wednesday, November 12, Vilnius – Tomorrow, November 13, President Valdas Adamkus is leaving for Baku to take part in the Energy Security Summit.

During his visit to Baku and the summit on energy matters, President Adamkus together with other heads of state will discuss energy cooperation between the Caspian Sea countries and the prospects of such cooperation with the European Union. The summit agenda also includes the energy dialogue between the EU and the Caspian Sea Region as well as the energy projects currently in development.
