Virtual Christmas event for Lithuanian kids in Canada
In anticipation of the winter holidays, Embassy of Lithuania to Canada together with Lithuanian schools in Canada and Canadian Lithuanian Youth Association invites all Lithuanian kids in Canada to a virtual Christmas celebration.

Participants can expect greetings by honorable guests, an introduction to Lithuanian Christmas traditions, Christmas themed workshop, video premiere of the song “Merry Christmas” performed by joint Canadian Lithuanian children choir and, of course, Santa!
Those joining for the Christmas ornament workshop are invited to have the following supplies ready:
1. Paper Angel (recommended for children from 4 years old): template printed on stiffer type of paper, scissors, and pencils or similar for coloring.
2. Christmas Decoration – Bird (recommended for children from 8 years old): 12-15 strips of stiffer type of paper (1 or more colors; width 1 cm, length 25 cm), strong thread.
3. Christmas Decoration made from Straw (recommended for children from 10 years old): 4 paper straws, cut into 1 inch pieces (12 pieces of 1 inch long straws are needed); strong thread, scissors, longer needle.
